These folks always have interesting things to say about community management. This time around, they are drawing a line between social media managers and community managers. It’s funny how quickly such a new discipline is already getting carved up into specialties. I’m a generalist who fears being pigeonholed. I’m also someone who pushes against corporate life. It seems to me that drawing this distinction is really useful for corporate hiring, but not so useful for communities. But that’s just my opinion.
